They have a soft spot for me as well, whenever I walk barefooted around the flat, the carpet is lovely and soft. |

Nice snake, but why put the heatmat on the wall? The snake wont get any use out of it. |

i'm with matty on this one, and i know a little about JCPs the bulb will be increasing the ambient temp as well as providing a basking spot, as it's a light-emitting bulb i'm guessing you turn it off at night? so heatmat on the floor or a ceramic bulb would be the best way to heat it over night. i'd also add more branches personally, so she has a warm branch and a cool branch to choose from
BTW she's nice |

it was on the light emitting bulb but its now in infrared 31c in day 24-26 at night.
so if i put the mat underneith substrate could i then put a small bowl of water over the top to keep humidity up instead of having to spray a few times a day |

If you now have a red blulb, I just wouldnt bother with the heatmat. If your struggling with humidity, just move the bowl closer to the bulb. |

Is it under the heat bulb or the engery saving bulb? How are you measuring the humidity? |
