Hi everyone, Frodo is now the same length if not slightly longer as his large faun (length x width). I've been considering houseing him in a rub untill after christmas when I'll get a viv. I've had a look around. Would a 50L very usefull box be ok or to big? He is now a bit cramped in his coconut hides aswell.

He's in the big faun. Yoyu can't get another one bigger so was wondering if a 50L rub would be ok or to big?

The holes in my rubs are , at the bottom and about a 2 inch square spread at the cold end , same again at the hot end but at the top of the rub . That means I have a nice airflow coming through the cold end and heat rising takes it up and out at the top end . These are at opposite ends of the rub and not in the lid . I use a small drill bit , pierces quicker , then go over with a larger drill bit , then clean off excess bits of plastic . I have used a small screwdriver over the oven flame , then pierce that way , leave a window open and dont breathe in the fumes . Don't have a soldering iron :P |
One last jump , that's all we have to take Holth . Wearily the old queen gathered heself to spring ; Moreta gratefully began her litany . Black , blacker , blackest - They went between . |

Ok cheers. What about my heat mat. I have the exo terra dessert medium heat mat which only covers 1/4 of the floor of the 50L RUB should I get the large mat or something different?
