I haved bathed him in warm water, but he still has diffuculty in shedding all his skin..... his head and eyes are healthy and he has eaten. any advice would be gratefull. He handles well and seems a tough cookie!i just dont want him to get an infection. |

How long ago was he attacked? Do you know the extent of the injuries? Has he been taken to an exotics vet?
Keep him on kitchen roll with a heat mat and thermostat. How big is the snake? Pictures of the wounds will help. Are they starting to heal? When did he last shed/attempt to shed?
Welcome to the forum. |

paper substrate to keep any wounds clean, tamodine or vetadine to bathe any wounds/scabs, damp hide or some Shed-Aid to resolve the shedding issue (though it sounds like it might be too late for his tail ) |
