looks good but why do you have 2 water dishes. the humidity may drastically rise and cause RI.

Well spotted that he likes to hide under his water bowls and a great idea to give him what he likes but empty! Good idea lilmissvix! HannahB is right though, you can easily add toilet tubes or cardboard boxes as hides with no extra cost. You are doing really well with Menga, which is great to see. xxx

thanks :D great advice from every one also sandwich boxes are good as well, got a snake called fatty at college and he will not use special nice looking hides sandwich box only. lovely snake not nice to look at at the moment as college rescued here few years ago from someone feeding it a mouse a day and came very obese and now is losing weight which is good. :-)

Looks nice, but you may find he wont go out into the open space and will skirt along the edges.

How are you heating it?, controling the heat source?, and what are you using to measure the temp?

a dial therm matty

those are no good vix, they arent accurate and on the wall they are measuring ambient air temps rather than floor temp. digi ones are fab, and there are some super cheap ones on

I was just wondering if there was anything else

Sb is right, you will need to get a digital thermometer or too, luckily they are pretty cheap.

simply run the probe through the cable hole in the back of the viv, or whatever it is you have, then place the probe right next to your stat probe, in the very centre of the heat mat.
