Ok Ill cut him back to 1, He has only had a few double feeds, but thought I'd check, Had a feeling I was over feeding! So roughly what sort of age do they go to double? I mean like between 4-6 months 6 moths - a year ect? |

just 1 question, one of the points to feeding out of the viv is to avoid swallowing any substrate,so why do you put it in the feeding box? |

He would not come out his tube he was in and as he is in shed It was easier to lift the tube out, That all fell out the tube! He would not move away from it, and as He is in shed if I tried to move him he kept striking at me, So I just watched closley to make sure none was swalloed, which it was not!
The waight to feed chatr you are on about says he should be on 2 pinkys as he weighs about 26 grams now, this is where I have got confused, I thought one, the chart said 2 so then I worried I was under feeding, so doubled up and then thought Im over feeding, so wanted more opinions. My old corn was fully grown when we bought him so never had to worry about upping the food size! |

he seems to digest the pinkies really quick. as a rough guide you should feed a mouse that is one and a half time the fattest part of the snakes body |

which is what I have been doing with the one pinky and could not see a big bump after feeding, so is it a case of he is digesting them fast and two would be over feeding??? For a roughly 12inch corn what weight should he be? That way I can see if he is over or under weight. Might help me ajust his feed accordingly. Like I said If I go by the chart he should be on fuzzys which are to big for him, and im sure would be over feeding! |
