tried 2 feed my 4 week old corn for the 1st time last night but he wouldnt take it. We did as the breeder advised when we got him, defrost and slightly warm a pinkie, put a small hole in the back of its head etc but he wouldnt take it. I think they seem 2 big for him but i cant find any smaller. He has grown alot since we got him (2 weeks ago) so i dont think hes ill, doesnt appear 2 be shedding 2 me. any tips 2 get him 2 eat?

we did that but it hadnt been touched this morning. Hes in a 8x8x10 plastic box (with plenty of air holes)while we wait for a proper viv to be delivered (should have been here last week but nevermind). heat mat under 1 side, hides on both, water on cooler side, aspen substrate. could it be down to it being too small for him? xx

That was cool.
Casper has not got the strike yet but he tries sometimes.
He was being fed on Wednesdays at the Shop but I moved his days to coincide with my other two, helped by his shedding.

good point hannahb, a cold snake will be lethargic and a hot snake will be stressed. how has he been behaving lately?

was so exciting! only thing is, i would have thought she'd hide after eating but she's just had another feed last nite and both times she just seems to bask on top of her hides and she kinda seems more active. is that normal after a feed?
