Hello

We brought home our first corn snake today and he's beautiful :)

I'm just a little worried about when he will find his water. Will he find it himself when he's thirsty or do we have to place him in the water bowl so he knows?

I'm scared he won't know there's water in there and dehydrate.

He'll find it on his first night out exploring his new surroundings. I saw my snake drinking for the first time last week at it was amazing, she scooped the water into her mouth and lifted her head up to swallow.

Hi and welcome. I am lucky, I see Kellog drink regularly, even when my hand is in the viv - it is amazing. He will soon come to know his viv intimately and can smell out the water without a problem. This is a great forum and so friendly that you feel you can ask what may seem the simplest question and it will be taken seriously and you will get great advice. Cant wait to see pic of your snake. xxx
