Hi, i'm Justin and i've had my Jungle Corn for around a year and a half(for anyone who doesn't know, a Jungle corn is a king/corn cross), so she's just a little over that as i received her at 3-4 weeks old. Her name is Ruby and she's currently around 3 foot and 2 inches.
Anyway, I thought it would be useful to be connected with the community as it can only be a good thing for Ruby.
I'll try to get some pictures soon so you can take a look at her, personally from what i've seen, Jungle corns are damn beautiful.
Nice to say hello. |

There's a pic, but she's in the middle of a shed cycle at the moment so we won't see her true colours until a couple of days have passed ^_^.
Stumpy-> Thanks for saying hi dude , How old is your corn?

That jungle corn is stunning Lofty, love the idea of a corn/milk. Is it easy to keep, many differences to normal corns? How available are they? xxx |

Well i've had a bit of a problem creating a decent temperature gradient, i've got 29 degrees at the hot end and 26 at the cool end, it doesn't sound cool enough at the cold side, any advice would be great. :)
She's very docile, hasn't ever bitten me, is very comfortable with people. She'll drink while you're holding her which I always considered major trust. But i could be wrong. Over all she's wonderful, sometimes she get's a bit energetic when she's being handled, but it's not fast, it's just her constantly wanting to move about and smell everything i think, from what i hear they're a very explorative breed of snake.
But yeah, never given me any trouble, i'm hoping she won't stop growing soon, when are they supposed to have reached their longest? It could be different with the king snake thrown in.
Thanks for being so friendly guys. :D |

The Jungle corn is slightly heavier than the same size Pure corn but they have a lovely nature. I think they grow to 6' |
