I use aspen but only because Flora loves burrowing and she couldn't do it in the beech chippings but like Hannah said it doesn't really make much difference personal taste I suppose |

i have the chips for my snake and apen for my skink, but after the snake sheds im gonna do aspen instead, find it easier to spot clean and easier for them to burrow in. only thing is its harder to find a burrowing rep in i find lol |

I use hemp/aspen for my corns simply as they like to burrow in it and they cant in beech chippings. I find aspen costs more than beech chippings but if you buy a bale it will bring the price down a bit. |

I use beech chippings in warm end and a huge pile of aspen in the cool so Blaze can burrow.
Aspen is cheaper and more absorbent IMO than beech. In case of any accidential ingestion of Aspen is easier for snakey to break down in his gut but still not good if he swallows any. |

I have been using beech chips for both of mine, but switched them back to aspen and they love to burrow in it. It also clumps together easier when poopy so its easier to muck out. |
