hi..i know about corns needin diff temps to regulate their body heat etc....but i am going out to see friends on sunday and they want to see the snake... i cant really carry the viv on me shoulder...only other way i have is a plastic tub with airholes...so any advice pls on makin shure hes going to be comfy for day without any heat source???

you could try taking a heat pad with you that is warmed up but to be honest I would wait till your friends come over to yours to see your snake.

How long would you have it without heat for?

For that long, not only would snakey struggle without heat but would be stressed in new environment and being handled by different people. Sure if your mates are interested enough they will come for a 'snake visit'! xxx

Heat up a ceramic tile and use that as a heat mat it will retain the heat for a while and you could heat it back up when you get to your friends

I agree with kellog and SB, and BE the snakes going to be in a different house.. different smells.. different people..
If it absoloutely neccersary (sp!) then handle him one person at a time not keep shifting.

If its possible make them come to yours; would be the best bet. the snake knows where it is at least.
