Yeah i found florida too humid.. we were there for the whole of august two years ago and we got the edge of a hurricane. One minute we were in the hotel pool and then it came all thundery and we had to evacuate the pool..

LOL. The everglades are fantastic, saw loads of gators and frogs and in gatorland wrestled a gator. [:D}

Woah, you wrestled a gator? :O Scary! hehe, I went there when I was young, so I don't remember it too much, but I DO remember the gators. And the manatees :) Did you happen to see any manatees when you were there? I thought they were soooo cool!

Also, I remember I got a stuffed yellow alligator when I was there and named it Kissimee (another town in Florida), but I forgot him on the airplane when we came home ;( *cries*

hehe we were in Orlando, Internation drive. We saw Manatees at Busch Gardens though

Yeah we got a backstage keeper for a day thing, I had to crawl into this tiny greenhouse-type thing and grab a grumpy baby gator! My step mum fed "chester" a 14ft gator, when he came out the water she had to throw the meat into his mouth;
we also held some giant burm's, scorps, i had two beardies sit in my hair and a tarantula sit on ny arm and loads of other cool beasties.

Yeah, the guy got the gator out of the water thing and pull it up a steep bank onto a sand pit, (it had taped up mouth) and I had to jump on it, dig my knees into it to stop it moving and stick my thumbs in behind its neck! Although it didn't seem to mind, then he took the tape of, and tapped his nose and it opened its mouth with a huge hiss! they sat me like that so i couldn't get wacked. I got some great pics on CD somewhere..
Yeah it was fab!!
