There is wide scope for colours, but generally speaking, no, there's not usually any lavender.

I think I understand what you mean. They have grey/white outlining their saddles. i think it's just a trait and their colour.

If they had lavander in them they'd be amel outside but have the ability to pass the lavander gene onto offspring. it's called a "Het" yet the parents would have be amel and lav.

So you can say "Amel het lavander" but the parents would have to be Amel and Lavander or as I've heard, if the snake's parent's parent is lavander it can still pass through that way but as it goes through the generation the chances thin... If I'm right guys?

But back to topic, no it's just their colours
edit:/ Genetics is still something I'm still getting to grips with!

Not quite Hillzi, if you bred an Amel and a Lavender you would only get normal offspring, het Amel and Lavender.

Ah, cheers BE.

I suppose it would be norm youngsters as all the morphs would descend from a normal corn.. and that morphs are genetic mutations
But the offspring can still produce amel and lavander youngsters later on.. yeah?

Yes if you bred those offspring back together you would be able to get Amels, Lavenders, Amel Lavenders (Opals).
