Is there a general rule about what weight of food to give for what weight of snake. Rizla is a greedy git and would eat anything you give him. I've only known him to refuse once and that was very close to him shedding. I'm trying to put him on a diet because he's a little fat at the moment, but I don't want him to go hungry.
I doubt if the snake will go hungry, i think its their instinct to be greedy and take food when they get it; as in the wild they don't how long it will take to find a nice plump rat
He'll let you know if he gets hungry when he tries to get your finger!
Maybe feed a bigger food but fortnightly? How big is Rizla? grith and length?
When they're on single pinks (2-3g), every 5-6 days. (Snake = 4-15g) -Double pinks (3g x 2) every 5-6 days. (Snake = 16-23g) -Small fuzzies (5-7g) every 6-7 days.
