| Having tried to keep up with all the posts re bad language, I think I should just bow out gracefully. I had not intended to call into question the Moderators or the Admins. Thanks Lewy for all the new stuff you have done, it's brilliant, and very clear from the start of someone visiting the forum. Still glad I posted the topic, but think I have read enough comments to know when enough is enough. Thank you all, and it's still the best Corn Snake Forum. Ally.x |

It is something we should've kept on top of anyway. Plus we could do with loads of new mods anyway because we have over a thousand members now. 6 mods over that many potential posters is a bit low. We are glad you pointed it out  |

Just out of interest why doesn't this forum have a report button?
Forums tend to be dead until they get regular posters then suddenly over night they grow so fast. Until I got regular mods on my forums I completely relied on the report feature and members policing themselves by using it. |

A report would be a good idea. I can't help feel a bit responsible for this topic being brought up, I've slipped up a few times. thanks for alerting everyone, including myself, and won't catch me swearing 
There must be a connection, we have little bad language, and wev'e had no spam! on my forum I've had a malaysian games company spam and an online pharmacy IN EVERY TOPIC.. that's the problem with being off-topic theres so many topics!

A report button would be an excellent idea. Maybe us mods could do it on a rolling rota. Mod taking week each to deal with reports so that the weight of reports isn't on any one mod's shoulders for too long?
It would free up Lewy to run the sites and Kaz to buy shoes and watch Jeremy Kyle  |

Well the way it works with the integrated system I worked with when you log in as a mod there is control panel for the usual mod stuff like merging threads, etc and there was a report/message pane where they collected for all the mods to read/see. |

Nah it worked like an email inbox that all the mods could open, anything opened and dealt with by mods showed as 'read' and then for every user/thread there is a history pane for what action was taken e.g. warning and the reason. |
