Just had a good look at Reggie's head and it does look like dry skin, any advice on what I could do?

try putting in a tub with damp moss in.

If it is skin from the last shed,another trick is to put him in a damp pillow case for 15-20 mins then let him slither through a co**** towle.If it's just dry then a moist hide is a good idea
