Hi
was just wondering i will be using a red light in viv for heat and light but what do i do at night do i leave light on and annoy snake or turn it off and have her become cold, im so confused what does every1 else do |

I leave it on, snakes cannot really see red light, it just appears like dusk to them. |

As BE said,i use infrared for my royal and leave it on 24/7 |

I use a Micro climate B1 with magic eye. The day time temp is at 30 degrees C and the night time temp is set at a difference of 6 Degrees C |

I use an infra red for my royal and leave it on. As already said snakes cant really see red light so it doesnt disturb them. |

yep,if you have a normal light on 24/7 that would probably stress the snake,the infra red bulbs just look like bright red light to us but seem dim to a snake therefor not really noticable during the day to them and just seems like dusk during the night |
