Either or really, there is no difference in how they are.
Although some males do tend to stop eating for a short while in the spring, due to mating season arriving.
This can be a worry for some new snake owners.

nothing else to add to what has already been said. unless you have a good name in your head then you need an appropriate sex for it

the only morph that comes to mind for differences is lavender - males tend to be a bit more colourful.

either is good.. best thing to do i think is get a hatchling and give it a non gender specific name and then get him/her sexed..

i didnt know that.. edison is male so will be interesting to see how colourful he stays.. hopefully my hypo lav will be colourful aswell

Guess it depends on what age you get your snake - if it is a hatchling then you have a 50/50 chance. As for an adult snake I think it would depend on what was available from wherever I got if from and which snake attracted me the most. xxx

Please correct me if i am wrong here, but i thought that females sometimes layed eggs even if there was no male involved... which would put a strain on their bodies.

Something worth thinking about when choosing between the sexes.

This is why I would buy a male over a female.
