Was reading through a book on the reptiles of Thailand and came across this beauty.
A Common Mock Viper (Psammodynastes pulverulentus)
Looks like a viper but its actually a harmless Colubrid.

Yup seen them in the Fils Dan, cool looking snake. I also like the Wolf snake its none venemous but is a feisty snake with a lot of charactre. A lot of Filapinos keep them as pets.

You've seen a Mock Viper? Sweet! They look wicked!
Ive been reading a bit more and it seems they're actually rear fanged and have a very mild venom. Possibly come under the DWA act too.
I really like the look of the Oriental Whip Snake too!

yeah nice snakes with those spooky cats eyes. Rose was telling me quite a few people keep these as pets too they call them vine snakes because they are so thin and they range from bright green to a dull brown (with a blue tinge!) and they never bite apparentley!
