Im pretty sure thats fine. As long as you keep an eye on the female to make sure the male isnt harrasing them too much. I think you have to be careful with the age too, make sure they dont become gravid too early.
It is better to keep a male with more then one female, as it stops them becoming over sexed! Someone i know has 1 male and 7 females in a viv, lucky man lmao!
