they're born with the odd speckling ;)

this is the same sort of thing, a 'paradox snow' that has patches of black, which again should be genetically impossible: http://iansvivarium.com/morphguide/paradoxsnow.php

it looks like it has chunks too kout of it ( being the red bits)
