Does anyone here own hermit crabs? I saw an article on them in a magazine and am thinking of getting some, but was looking for some adivce first.

No- but Lewy's brother has got some Rainbow land crabs and they are similar care.

I think the hardest thing is finding suitable shells for them.

Saw a good website whilst researching the rainbow's though. Think it was absolutely crabulous or something. Exotic pets also sell hermit crab assessories. Get thee to google!

i would love some hermit crabs - they are so cool!
i remember my sister saying that she wanted some so might see what the rep.shop has in near her birthday

im saw some in the pet show and was enquiring about them.you have to order shells in mainly but i spose any would do with a cleanout. but they are sooo coool

The have some up at my locval rep shops, spent hours there and never seen them move. I think the novelty could wear off quickly.
