use the corkscrew on the knife to open test tube. to change knife functions etc, enlarge it then click on the small pic of the knife so your cursor doesn't have a pic of the knife next to it, then click on the knife to change attachments. then close it once u have the corkscrew selected. enlarge the test tube then click on the knife then with knife selected click on enlarged testube pic. hope that makes sense lol

to open the safe behind the pic u need the code. put the 3 little batteries in the laser pen and it projects the code onto the safe. there are 2 X's in the code, replace them with the numbers on the paper inside the tube ;)

I got quite far before I went to a cheat site only to find out I never would have completed it as I have no sound on my work computer :(
Great game though. Reminds me of Myst which I loved (and have just bought for my iphone)

use knife to remove the cover on the socket (bottom right of wall with 2 hatches) the use screwdriver bit to unscrew, battery behind there ;)
