i have 2 adult cornsnakes and i keep them on sand is sand ok for them

Hi davejan85 and welcome to the forum ^^
Its best to keep cornsnakes on aspen or wood chippings (not pine) as sand can cause irritation to their scales as it can get stuck between them. It can also cause damage to shedding or freshly shed snakes as its quite abrasive. |
