If I'm not mistaken (lol and I often am!) they used to catalogue snakes as old world if they we're egg layers and new world if they had live young. I think this term went out a long time ago but its a quick way of defining the two types.
I didn't mean to come across as a smart ass lee i call everyone dude (bad habit) and as you quite rightly pointed out we all learn something new everyday.... |
