Love the Saw movies, got the box set for my birthday. I think I may have a seriously twisted side :)

I have given in to the cold now and finally put the heating on, no more ass freezing for me!!

Yeah, i love the Saw films as well... but i did think they were a little on the tame side. Maybe my twisted side is a little more developed? haha

I also love films like House Of 1000 Corpses, the Hostel films, À l'intérieur, Murder-Set-Pieces.

OOhhh I love the Hostel films a lot. I'm mostly into Asian gore and horror (esp any films from the Tartan collection). My number one fave is probably Audition but I love the visual spectacle of the Eastern films (House of Flying Daggers is the most beautiful film ever made, imho)

Audition was ok, but i thought it was a little slow. It only got good in about the last 25 minutes.

I've got to say I like the quietly intense, slow builders like that and my needle phobia kicked in quite dramatically too! One of the few films that actually did make my toes curl!!

Quietly intense is good, but not when it takes over 2 thirds of the film to start with the nasty stuff!

More or less, yeah.

Give me a good splatter film over a slow starter any day of the week. :)

Ichi the Killer is probably the closest I've ever come to actually throwing up while watching a film (sorry btw if anyone reads this and thinks that gross but the blurrgh factor is pretty important in a gory movie!). I think I might have hated the film if it hadn't had so much sick humour in it too, as it is it's certainly one of my faves.

I enjoyed the manga version of Ichi The Killer, although i was a little let down by the film. Isn't it always the way, you expect so much and it never quite lives up to what you had expected.

As for throwing up during a film, i can't say i have ever come close. An ex almost did during a film though, i was sat there p***ing my sides laughing at the obvious black comedy and she was sat there covering her face and mildly dry heaving.

Needless to say i was not with her for much longer after that night... which was ok as i could not stand watching anymore bloody chick flicks.

YES THEY ARE GOING TO GET TOGETHER, THEY ARE THE STARS OF THE FILM! WORK IT OUT!

LOL I'm not a big chick flick/romcom fan, although I did have a bit of a cry at Gran Tourino.

I think I like horror/thrillers etc cos they remind me of my Dad. He used to let me stay up massively late and watch scary movies with him back in the olden days of VHS. Thanks to my father I watched Nightmare on Elm Street when I was 10 (he's not a bad father, but he's quite liberal!). I loved the film even though it terrifed me and couldn't sleep for weeks!! The thrill of being scared is why I love crazy roller-coasters and had to try bungee-jumping. I've got a tandem parachute jumped booked for my birthday next year too!! My kids think I'm mad (actually my eldest called me a freak)

LOL Kellog, it's probably more that you're not blood-thirsty and twisted. Bioshock already confessed to it and I'm a bit sick too

I am, although i am finding it hard to type.

My cat is laying on my stomach... but it is so he can be sneaky and watch my King Snake. He knows not to go up to it and watch so this is what he knows he can get away with.

I think I might be the only one awake, which is probably a sign that I should go to bed!

Nahh. Think I might have a little bit longer on my game
