Well I'm sure you've all heard the news; what do you think?
Points to CORRECT the media on;
- We can afford healthcare, only the old or young will die if not treated
- Its just like the normal flu, we will get over (Britain is like flu capital of the world) and we will get over it and become immune to it, like bird flu that disapeared but this has spread.
Hence INFECTIONS not DEATHS.
What do you lot think?

| well, i think its going to affect anyone with a low immune system e.g. me. i always get colds so that kinda sucks. apparently its been over hyped by the pharmaceuticals to sell their flu vacines (doesnt suprise me). The meds are only supposed to reduce the symptons and effects slightly to give your body a better chance at fighting it. that doesn't mean that our immune systems will begin to deal with it though. like all things strange, lets take it as it comes after all we can do sod all else! |

5 confirmed cases. The scottish couple and the 12 year old girl are recovering well.
I just think we will either get it, be out of doing anything for 1 week then be immune to it afterwards and the virus will die of.
Also 33 million masks ordered?! Gordon brown is nutty they dont even work! |

Won't get it though, government SAYS Good hygeine like washing hands often and sneezing into a tissue and binning it will stop the infection. |

i think people have died because of the complications from having swine flu, not from having the flu itself.
e.g - pneumonia.
i've read online that if you think you have it, don't goto the docs but to phone nhs direct and they'll speak to you about it, but you should just stay at home and get someone to go get you meds. that's about it. aslong as you're not old or very young you should be fine i think. |

I hate how the media hype everything up...I remember when they started warning everyone about bird flu and how it could wipe millions of people out...I was so worried because I have three pet chickens and seriously thought I would have to get rid of them or that they would be culled.
Then bird flu disappeared for a few months until they decided to scare everyone with it again, and now it seems to have disappeared for good (hopefully) and has been replaced by swine flu.
It just bugs me how instead of trying to calm the situation, all the media seems to do is blow everything out of proportion and make me feel terrified |

| It will pass over just like the bird flu inccident I think, so far more people have been killed by being hit on the head by coconuts than by swine flu (Thank you Sun newspaper for that). |
