Hey! My corn Fluffy 3-4 yrs old has been in a winter rest (I have not taken her out of her viv since oktober) I took her out to eat today and I noticed something on her tail. The tip seems to be gone (only a millimeter or two!) what now seems to be the tip is kind of black/brownish. It's not swolen and it does not seem infected.. I recogn she might of had a tiny accident? I am a bit worried that it was me that caused it when I caught her on my bed after she had escaped a couple of weeks back..
She's eating and drinking well She has shed and pooped too and she's been very active lately..
Has anyone else had a snake who lost the tip of it's tail? Is there anything I can do for her?
ALSO! After I fed her earlier I put her back in her viv and out of her cloaca came two tiny white poops on each end of her cloaca. Does anyone know what this is? For a minute I was like oohnooo fluffy is a boy and she just jizzed! But that can't be it right? :0
Omygod noooo she cant be a he! Now I have two male snakes :c It was so weird. She had just had a feed and I popped her back into the viv and I saw these two tiny white sticky worms come out on each side of the cloaca... Isnt it just like female musk or something? xD
Maybe... but I saw my male do the same, when I let him on the grass outside in summer... it was like he was marking the territory, lol. Disgusting. Could you have Fluffy probed, or is she/he still too small?
How's the tail? From what I've heard, they ususally drop the tip without problems, maybe during next shed. But it's worth keeping an eye on, in case it gets infected
Once it gets a bit warmer I'm going to take her to a friend to get probed ;) I can do it myself but I don't enjoy doing stuff like that to my own babys haha.
I really think she's a boy. It really looked like two little willy's with two white things coming out *cringe*
