Finally, 15 days after her prelay shed Ofelia is laying!
I think there were around 5 eggs when I checked, not totally sure as when I spotted them I left her to it as soon as possible to minimise stress. They looked nice and white though from what I could see

I'm now doing the pacing expectant father thing haha

Thanks for all the well wishes. She still had one egg to lay when I went bed last night. Got up this morning to find she'd finished though and had laid 17 eggs, all of which look good. I'm really chuffed, and relieved as it was the first time for us both.

Egg number 17 is the loner:

What perfect looking eggs Kali went for quantity but Ofelia seems to have chosen quality They look really good. Job well done Ofelia.

17 is a decent sized clutch full stop. And scaly has a good point, lots of corns produce less the first time they lay too. Kali only laid 16 her first time
