Went for a walk on local heath this morning, hoping to see some adders or grass snakes. Haven't seen a single one, but there were many lizards sunbathing - mostly disappearing in a blink of an eye - except this gorgeous little chap. He seemed to be almost showing off his colours, and let me get really close to take pics ( only mobile, unfortunately ).

Aren't I gorgeous

And a little girlie, very shy, only let me take this one photo, then she was off:

Hope you enjoy

Thanks, everybody. I must get a decent camera, the mobile pics are never that sharp, and the photobucket seems to have "washed out" the colour of the male a bit, he was really bright, with green markings.
