Please note this is for a large viv!
This item was purchased for my 4x2x2, however upon fitting it shot the temps up very quickly, (which was fine in itself), & continued to overshoot the temps by another 10+ degrees dispite the stat doing its thing correctly. Luckily I was watching closely & the snake was evacuated with no harm but it scorched the roof & burnt through the tea towel used to get it out, before scorching the floor both were placed on!!
The bulb is clearly not suitable for my set up, I think its working fine but if you do take it please be aware of what has happened & test thoroughly before placing animal in enclosure. |
