Hi everyone :) just thought I'd officially join the page. Been reading the threads for weeks and have learned loads about getting all set up. So thanks to all you unknown helpful people :)
Got my new friend yesterday. He's as yet unnamed and is a 4 month old Amel. My first reptile so very inexperienced. .. but an avid researcher and quick learner  |

Hi Amanda, I'm really glad you've decided to stop lurking in the shadows  . As you'll have seen, this is a great forum with lots of experienced owners happy to give their advice and support. You also get lots of fun and friendship . If you're a Facebook user you can also join our group on there - Thecornsnake.co.uk
It's really good that you're wanting to learn as much as you can  . If you can't find what you want to know using the search option, then please don't hesitate to ask. We don't bite, much  . In the top right corner, by the search option, is 'Active topics'. You can use that to access those threads that have been commented on since you last logged in.
Pics are compulsory, of course. Hopefully this will help - How to post images using Photobucket , although it is playing up at the moment  . You will need to look at this as well Photobucket update . You can also post pics via Facebook. Select the IMG option (top of box, yellow and looks like a mountain), then just right click on the Facebook photo, select copy URL and add them between the [img] tags. Hopefully that makes sense  !
A word of warning, this won't be your last corn....they are addictive .

| Thanks everyone :) I will definitely get some pics up as soon as I can. Just trying to let my boy settle in before I chase him with a camera. He's gorgeous though - trailed about ten different petshops (within about 50 miles of home) for weeks before choosing him. I think it's going to be hard to wait till next week before I handle him! |
