So I weighed Dave today and he was 94 g so he has put on 16g in two weeks is this good or too much? He has a small mouse once a week I dig him out most days except when he has been fed Oh and he is a cb12 xx Thanks
It depends if he has passed waste in that time. It is quite a bit for two mice but if he hasn't past waste then it's no surprise. Was he empty when you weighed him first? The main thing is that they are putting on weight and are shedding and passing waste ok. While they are growing they can put on weight fast, especially when they go up a mouse size. Hope that helps.
Yeah he has pooped on me the other day :-) and yes it was before I fed him so I'll have to keep a eye on him and weigh him two weekly I guess and see how he goes x Thanks
Tthis worried me a bit too at first, my little one is growing at a rate of 5 grams per week atm now 91g, I have noticed after a shed he can have growth spurts though.
I know he has pooped too as it was all over my jeans when it happened
healthy weight gain????
