As some of you may remember I retired little Pick gerbil from college a while ago and she was later paired with Drop gerbil. They have lived happily together but earlier this week little Pick had to be put to sleep  she was having repiratory problems and on examination the vey found a lump in her stomach, we also suspect she may have had another stroke, so the decision was made to say good bye.
Now since Drop is on;y a year old I decided rather than her spend the next 3 -4 years on her own I would try and pair her up with another gerbil. Finding the right on proved a bit of a chalange as they were either male or not quite suitable. But to day I have found a potental friend!

Little Rain is a cutie, and look at those whiskers:) Hope everything goes well and they become firm friends :) |

Thanks all, i was gutted but i know it was the best thing for her. As for rain am already besotted  so fingers crossed! Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be posting pics of a happy pair of gerbils |

Oh no so so sorry xx I loved their story and was great seeing them be friends after all the worry of putting them together.
Hope Rain and Drop make friends.
Had to laugh at SB - Rain Drop lol

Poor little Pick, RIP.
But Rain looks like he means business on that picture :-) , so hopefully, Rain and Drop will be happy together. Very cute. |
