As I mentioned in my photo post the other day, our little Carolina shed last week. Before he did I ordered one of the exo terra snake hides as it came with some moss. Typically he shed all by himself before the hide and moss turned up in the post!
I ordered the medium size hide, well it's miles too big for him at moment! So I got to thinking if I could use the hide now only make it a tighter fit by filling it dry moss? I figure that will allow him to make a nice cosy little hide within the moss. When he comes round to shedding again I can just swap dry for wet and that should help too right??
Seems to me like a sensible enough idea but I thought I'd put it out there while I'm still learning bits |

I give my guys dry moss the play in in their hides, doesn't do them any harm. |
