I have an ultramel corn snake for rehoming to an experienced older reptile keeper.
I have had her from a baby and she has become more and more bitey towards me. She doesn't strike... But catches you out when you think she's ok , then mouths you and tries to eat your hand...
My partner can handle her for longer than me, so maybe a male keeper may be better. I want her to go to a forever home, as we were going to give her, but if I cannot get her out to handle then she's not getting the handling she deserves. I have persevered for three years, but I think it's time to find her a home or owner who she likes.
She sheds and eats well. She's very pretty and not a regular phase Corn snake. She may even be a crossbred, which might explain the mild aggression.
