I am using ASPEN what else can you use.

One Snow Corn
One Amel Corn
One Carolina Corn
Two Male Bearded Dragons
Three Female Bearded Dragons
Three Yellow belly Turtles
One Florida Soft Shell

I use beech chips currently, but when mine was young it just had newspaper.

Thanks that's what I use in my bearded dragons viv's. I like the aspen as it does look soft for them and they do like to go under and sleep.

news paper, paper towel, beech chips, i have forgotten the name but there is a sort of cardboardy based substrate that looks lke ripped up pieces of thin card.

I am about to trial megazobe. I have been using carefresh which I really like but it is more expensive.

I use repticard for mine, it's really absorbent and looks quite natural, the boys seem to like it too

Hmmm, actually come to think of it - lignocel is great if you have several snakes in large enclosures (and it's fine for other pets such as hamsters etc), but 3 little ones and a bag will probably last you forever lol! This is the link if you want to check it out anyway ;) http://www.wildworldreptileshop.co.uk/lignocel-12-5kg/ Much softer than aspen, smells nice (I hate the smell of beech chips) and one bag has lasted me ages already!
