Finally Storm is blue, so hope it goes ok. Ignore the temp, probe got moved when his faun did

OMG seriously? just how much longer? clear after blue longer or blind longer?
Although when i woke him up, i always let him get a good scent, he never puffed or anything, he is so chilled

Oh it probably just seems ages - but I know the first time Hoggy shed he took so long that I hadn't realised his damp hide had dried out!! And then I had to help him shed the bit over his nose! The second time I refreshed his moss part way through and he shed perfectly fine lol.

How has Storm been with his food now? I'm seriously tempted to brumate ours as nothing seems to be working, and over on t'other side a few people have said their hogs have stopped eating now due to the season and are starting brumation. I really didn't want to, and at the moment he hasn't lost any weight, but I don't want to risk him losing any either, decisions decisions...

my big girl hoggie Gertrude goes easily over 2 weeks before shedding after blue then clear eyes.I have often forgotten about whats going on then I find a neat rolled up snakey stocking waiting for me in the morning.
she is goodat eating though-never refused food yet

Well this was a shock, went to check on him, he had shed!!
eyecaps, but no tail tip which has been sorted.
I am sooooooo pleased Lyla just HAD to make sure he was ok
