My hatchies are almost 2 months old now. Most of them are fantastic eaters and will eat even in blue, they've never missed a feed and have more than doubled in weight since hatching. A couple of them had a rocky start, I had to assist feed various mouse parts but they finally got the idea and are on their 3rd or 4th independent feed with a pinky. They're now putting on weight at an acceptable rate.

Five, however, will NOT eat by themselves. I've tried every trick in the book to get them to take frozen pinks, but I'm having to resort to force feeding because they've not put on a single gram, 4 out of 5 have actually lost weight. My next logical step is to try live...only problem is, I have no idea where I can acquire live pinkies! Breeding my own is not an option, I don't have the time or space. Any suggestions as to where I can get live snake food?

I dont know where, can only suggest the Dark Side, they might have someone near you that breeds mice, you might have already tried it, but raw egg yolk, Razee suggested it for Storm, he ate it so fast
Not sure if a pet shop would put you in touch with a breeder?

Raw egg yolk? do you just put it in a bowl like you would water?

I have a one year old that I have to force feed a rats tail each week and although he doesn't seem to stress over it I do! I've tried every trick too he just won't eat on his own. I got him and his sister months ago and the difference in size is staggering as she eats everything that moves!

Er...the dark side? I'll try the raw egg yolk thing, maybe it'll appeal to them, although I know Luna doesn't like egg (I tend to test new things on her first, if she'll take it there's no reason for the babies not to lol)
