Soooooo excited! the'Powers that be'have granted approval for me to set up a reptile room(ish).To be accurate we have a very wide (5ft)galleried landing that looks over the stairs,leads to my sons attic room and has a huge glazed gable-the whole thing works like a light well for the downstairs.
So I have a wide well lit airy space to set up for my snakeys.There is power nearby,and water from the bathroom.
All the usual crowd will stay in the living space with us (Georgey Boy,Thumper,Fluffy,Astrid,Sunny,Solar,Sarum,Nige and Hogsters- then I can set up a space for young uns to grow on.
Happy days 
So,any top tips on Reptile Rooms? the floor is varnished boards so easy to keep clean,and I can shout down the stairwell for Tea and Jaffa's.
So thats the mj area sorted.... |

Paint it green and add fake plants to the walls not just in the enclosures! create an inner jungle :L |

Aw-Ikea viv's sounds Stylish erm,may have to get creative with my mismatched odd-bod bits'n'bobs:
1/rack holing 24 'cadbury boxes'(matted & statted)white melamine
2/rack for 9 large 'trays'/18 15l RUBs (matted & statted)white melamine
3/ 2 vivexotic 3ft in walnut colour
4/ 1 lucky reptile incubator-black
5/ assorted faun's/RUBs in various sizes & colours
see what I mean? it's all 'previously enjoyed'-the Walnut viv's were bought and then it turned out that the snakes had to go too!
Anyhow,I'm wearing my shame face now  didn't mean to cause folks to be jealous  ......just sharing some happy news.. |
