Hi,
I was just wondering everyone thoughts on brumation? I have recently bought a female reverse okeetee who has been bred this year however she seems very skinny compared to my lavender corn. am I best leaving brumtion this year if im not happy with her weight?

She ought to be 300 g + for breeding - that's just a minimal weight though, what's more important is, that she should be in good condition. If you're not sure, it'd be better not to brumate her, and feed her up instead. Most corn snakes will breed, even without brumation, comes the spring.

I think I will leave her this year then. No point brumating her I'm not happy with her weight at all. Her previous owner bred her this year and I don't think she has got back up to weight yet.

Thankyou so much for the help everyone :)
