Good for her not worrying about other people and following what she likes. Don't be nervous - there is such a lot of help to be had on here - you will be fine. I was really nervous to start with and kept on checking to make sure Omar was still alive. Needless to say he was fine - I think they are pretty robust little things really!
Good on her, and don't worry, I bet you once she has the snakey at home, and shows it to her friends, they'll see it's not horrible. Soon, they'll be won over by its cuteness. And if not, there's lots of us here, who will appreciate nice pics :-)
