Hi guys, I could really do with a little advice on handling Loki.

He has been feeding well and has had a perfect shed since being with me and the last week or so I have started handling him but he is very aggressive :(

He has tagged me once and strikes quite often. He's also very flighty :(

Could any of you advise me on how to calm him down and make him feel more comfortable with me?

Nothing to add to Herriotfans splendid post
well, maybe they are all different and some can have 'interesting personalities'I have a Blue eyed Leucistic Rat snake-they are notorious for being 'orrid BUT mines as nice as a found fifty pound note
By contrast I have a little corn snake that behaves like a cross between a Grumpy Retic and a Miffed mexican black King snake
I know with time she'll slow up....until then I just giggle at her little tantrums
Good luck with your little guy-I'm sure you'll be friends for life soon
