Just throwing it out there to see what people say/have had similar occurrences.
Well Mosey as the title says, has had an unusual poop. Slight watery substance, faeces was 2 different shades of brown and made of little lumps rather than a continuous/two piece movement.
Kinda looked like mouse innards to be honest.
Just curious if this sounds of any concern to anyone.
At the moment, as it was just a small movement its not overly bothering me. If it happens again then i may take to a vet.
Just looking for opinions :) |

| Mine sometimes do this - I always think that perhaps it could be older poop, mixed with a new one. Sometimes you get just a mouse fur, plated and dreadlocked .... as long as there's no blood, slime or strange colours like green, your snake should be ok. Just keep an eye on it, and if it keeps worrying you, you can always have it tested. Most likely, you'll find the next poop will be normal. |

| I've had that from a few of mine now and again but it seems normal, it does look like the mouse insides. |

Well she has done it again, a larger amount than before, but the poop was the same colour. Im curious if it was just a dodgy mouse :/ hmm.
Ive contacted a vet about getting Abbey sexed, when he contacts me back i'll ask about Mo aswell. Just want to make sure my babies are healthy :) |

| If you are worried you can get a faecal exam done by pals vet lab, post it off and get the results, I think it's pretty reasonable price as well |

| Thanks scaly, i shall look them up :) Im not fiercely worried, i mean atleast she is pooing and its not an unusual colour. Its just that its not her usual continuous movement, but lumpy haha. Im over thinking things maybe. |

Sheldon's poops look like mouse innards sometimes too, he seems healthy tho so I wouldn't worry too much  |

Where do you get your mouses from? I always wonder about freshness-not an issue for my guys because they are bred literally 5 mins away,and what they ate this evening was running around squeaking on Sunday!
Seriously though I was shocked to discover that a lot of feeder rodents are bred in USA or eastern europe!My mind fair boggles at how many times they have been frozen/defrosted before our snakeys get them!!
I also found out that the rodents I get (from Livefoods By Post)are DEFRA inspected ,passed for HUMAN consumption 
I guess if someone doesn't eat one evening I can always make Ratatouille or even Mouseatouille  Anyone? |

i get them foil packed from pets at home, only place i can get them where i bide,
Never really thought of that tbh, more paranoid worry now -_-
haha human consumption, so Nigel and i really could share a meal :L |

| Pets at home get the mice from a major UK breeder/ supplier. I asked them once, I forgot which one it is, but I remember it was a good one - and it will most like be the same supplier everywhere, as they're a chain. I'm sure they'll tell you, if you ask...so don't worry :-) |

| Well she is still pooping oddly :( Not as bad as the first couple times, but its still pellet like and not what she used to be like. I feel the vets is in order. |

| You know your snake best, and what is normal for her, and what's not. If it worries you, I'd have her poop checked, it's not mega expensive. Better safe than sorry, and if it's nothing, it's still worth it, for the peace of mind. :-) |
