AAAw Scotty Mc BB!I so totally know what you mean! Gertrude is always roaming about, begging to come out, poking her cheeky face up at us-Hoggies are sooooo cute . I've got mine on 'Repticard' now nice and deep,it looks like leaf litter, and they seem to relish 'nose diving'through it!Just like mini Spice Worms from the film 'Dune' |

It took ours a good while to settle in SBB, tried various methods, eventually the one which worked was tubbing (popping hoggie plus food in a little butter tub with some air holes and sealing it up for the night). He now feeds every time, but ony by drop feeding and only if not in blue, when he throws a moody for about 2 weeks :P Hope your little one is not as fussy as ours though and takes it overnight :)
It also took him a good couple of months to settle back down when we moved him, from his original location to another room (ie quarantine period over, but was still in busy, noisy area of house as before) - he just hid away solidly for ages before finally realising everything was still OK in the new room! |

Hoggies have fast metabolisms and should be fed every 4-5 days ideally so I'd try again Friday personally. Good luck, I think we'd had ours 3-4 weeks before he fed, so try not to feel too disheartened. Also, I didn't get around to trying this on Hogster (as the tub feeding worked) but a little bit of boiled egg white is supposed to do the trick for hoggies (in the same way chick scenting is the winner for corns!).
If the worse comes to worst, you could always try Georgina's trick... go out and find some toad roadkill lol |

I'm sure he'll be scarfing down rodents in no time-as smarty buns said they can go a while without eating. I know its different because he's a corn but Inky went from being a reliable nosher with Erin,to turning his nose up at everything we could offer, then back round to anyhing he could fit in his mouth He was fine and I was left I'm guessing Storm is a very refined, well bred chap who is merely exercising his god given right to take you on a 'Gastronomical Tour'of the contents of your freezer! |

He ate!!!! I put him in his small tub late last night, i wasnt bothered if he didnt eat, only that even though all the pinkies were diddy, only 3 were extra diddy! Sad i never got to see him have it, but will do the same on sunday, then after that will see if he will show some attitude and strike |
