Princess Merida (Mexican Red Knee) in premoult 3 days ago:

2 days ago I came home from work to find she'd been busy:

Today, 2 days after moulting, those red knees are really starting to colour up
This pic in natural light:

Others taken with flash:

Octavius, my shy little Chaco Gold Knee in his fave spot

Just messing about with pics:

Ruby, my stroppy madam of a Chilean Rose:

Last but not least is Oops. I went to the opening weekend of a new exotics shop on Sunday and spotted this little un. While talking to one of the owners I proceeded to quite literally through the tub and critter on the floor *the place was packed and you can imagine what a pleb I felt* I very quickly offered to pay for it whether dead or alive, so here he/she is:

Oh, he/she is a Brazilian Black and is absolutely fine, fed the other day with no issue. In fact it has the most insane feeding response I've seen in a tarantula, even beats my pyscho Ruby haha!!

Is this the beautiful girl I just commented on, on Tartan Tarantulas?
Once upon a time I couldn't have looked at those photos.
Then I braved it and held a beautiful Chaco Golden Knee youngster.
Now I'm busy looking out for a Red Knee of my own!!
If I can cope with one of those then I think I'll end up getting a Chaco and possibly a Curly Hair!

I did put a couple of pics of her up on TT yes
I think you're doing the best thing you could there. I got mine for the same reason and I am slowly getting better with the spiders around the house.
I removed one from my sons bedroom ceiling the other night for the first time EVER! Normally it would have meant I'd end up with my son in my bed haha. Check out Eauthlus sp. Reds too, they have a really good reputation as a beginners T
