Hello. I've had my corn for 2 weeks now, we were told he was 2 months old (Bd 03/05/15). First feed was 7/7 he struck straight away and hid under his log. He shed no issues 13/7. Fed again 13/7 but didn't hide this time and also today 18/7 he didn't hide away. We are feeding pinkies. He's around the length of 1.25ft and is tiny width wise. The pinkies do show as they go down his body but about half way down there are no longer visible. Do I need to increase to two pinkies already or could the heat mean he doesn't have to hide to help digest the food?
If one pinkie is not visible after he's finished eating them then it sounds like it is time to give him two pinkies A corn snake can manage to eat something as long as it is less than 1.5 times the width of their widest part but there's often quite a jump between sizes so many people (myself included) double up for a while
