I keep Snakey's shedded skins in boxes (they kind of stink a bit), but I wanted to make wallets of belts or some form of clothes/accessories with them but one of my parents said you can't really do that with 'dead' skin.

I'm not sure why Snakey's shedded skin smells, I've never noticed that with mine. All I can think of is that you are putting the shed skin in the box before its fully dried out. I don't keep mine, but I've only had juveniles/adults. If I'd had a hatchling I probably would have kept the first clean shed and a few more over the years as it grows.
I'm not sure about making it into a wallet, you'll have to google it. I know someone who was making one from the skin of his first ever corn when it died, but that is very different.

Personally I would just throw them out but then I'm not very sentimental/creative lol
I doubt that you would be able to make anything from shed skins due to how brittle they get when they dry out; they'd probably be more likely to just tear. I know that items can be made from the skins of dead snakes but I'd have thought that would be very different due to those skins not being dry.
I could be wrong though; as Kellog said, best to Google it :) |

Shed skin is way too brittle to make anything out of. The only purpose I've seen so far was a woman sticking pieces of skin over some of her artworks to give it a scaly look ^^ |

You could always lay them out an laminate them onto a wallet or belt. |
