Well Willow decided to regurgitate Monday evenings meal overnight.  . Her temps are fine (28-30 oC at hot end). She has had no feeding issues at all with me till now and nothing about her set up has been changed. My only thought is that she is very close to a shed (eyes have cleared from being blue). Could it be stress as she is about to shed?
I plan to wait till she sheds or 10days which ever is the longer and then feed her a pinky. Does that sound right? She normally takes fuzzies. |

| Yeah wait now for 10 days, by then she will have shed. If nothing has changed i would say its down to the stress of shedding. Someone else might have some supporting or conflicting advice. I am sure willow will be ok though :) |

It could well be down to her shedding. Everything else is ok.
Your plan is correct. Give her the full 10 days to let her digestive system recover and it's normal enzymes/bacteria etc get back to normal.

I am sorry Ben  . I've been there with regurges so know what it's like. It is most likely that its down to her being blue and ready to shed any minute. Her eyes were bigger than her body could handle.
You've got it right, leaving her 10 days and then giving her a pinkie instead of a fuzzie. I would also suggest that you don't handle her in that time, even after she sheds. Just let her rest and recover.
I know how horrible it is and how worrying but this should only be a one-off, so please try not to worry too much.

| I'm doing my best not to worry! She has done great on eating an putting on weight recently so was a bit sad that it happened. She was sat on her sensor for her stat the other night so maybe it got too hot as she was cooling it down? I never know how to position the sensor, if its in the hide she sits on it and if its out of the hide it is in a cooler spot than the hide and she sits on it! |

Oh no, I can totally see why that would be scary, hope my little boy always manages to keep his dinners down, though I suspect it's something that all snake keepers go through at one point or another. Willow is such a beautiful lady, I hope this is just a one time thing for her!
And aww, don't know what to suggest regarding stopping her sitting on the thermostat sensor but the mental image is a little adorable... |

| Another quick question. The faun now smells even though I spot cleaned the regurge, it was hard to get it all. Is it better to leave her be, or move her to give it a proper clean? |

I'd just leave it for now and give her a full clean out once she's had her 10 days to recover. She's going to be a bit delicate at the moment, bless her.  |

I'd be tempted to clean the faun, if it were me. The fact that it still smells means there's probably still some tiny bits somewhere ( I expect there'd have been some fluid as well ), full of nasty bacteria.
Maybe get a nice small box, put a hide in, then pop Willow in, and cover up with a towel, to keep her nice and calm - then give the faun and hides a good clean , and replace the bedding. When all is done and running again, pop her back in. That way it won't be too stressful for her, and you'll now she's in a nice, clean home.
Re sensor - I've got mine weighed down by the edge of the hide, but sticking just outside, so that she doesn't lie on it, but it's still very near to where she is - hope it helps.
Try not to worry too much, that regurge could well have been just because she was so close to shed, or maybe it was a weird mouse... just carry on with what you've already said, and hopefully she'll eat with no problems next time :-) |

Herriotfan's right that she'll be a bit delicate now ( with shedding as well ) - so maybe see if the smell goes on its own first - maybe it's just what was left after you've cleaned the regurge. If the smell gets worse, though, I'd probably clean then, just try to keep the disturbance to minimum... |

I did wonder about the bacteria but thought it was probably a residual smell rather than anything else. 
I do agree with Razee's suggestion if the smell gets worse! |

It certainly is a horrible smell, nothing quite like it. Personally I'd leave her be rather than disturb her....and if the smell gets worse then you know you need to do something about it and she'll have had a few more days to recover.
As far as the probes are concerned you don't want them anywhere that she'll lie on them, because then her body heat messes with their readings. Is the hide the sort with a base? I'm just wondering if that's why you are worried if you put the probes out of the hide they will be in a cooler spot. If not then it doesn't matter where on the heatmat you put them, it will be the same temp as where she's lying in her hide. Hope that makes sense  !
Don't worry too much Coal, regurging is a fairly rare thing so hopefully it'll be something you won't ever have to deal with.

| Well the good news is she has now shed, I'm assuming that is what caused the regurg as its only 24hrs later. The shed was complete, eye caps are both there and from my novice eyes looks like tail tip too. (a tube like scale at the end? I'm having difficulty the last tube like scale is half folded within itself as but it seems to have a rounded end looking through the rest of the shed. Plus its tiny!) Now I need to give her some time to recover! |

I'm so glad she had a good shed. It would have been horrible for you and her if it had been a bad one and you'd have has to deal with retained shed on her. It does sound like the tail tip is there.
There is someone on the Facebook group who has just experienced almost exactly the same thing as you, she fed her snake on the Wednesday and it shed on the Friday. Not sure when it regurged as she hadn't checked the viv and only found it on Tuesday I think. Unfortunately she didn't know any better and as her snake was due a feed she fed it , so I'm hoping it doesn't regurge again.
Now it's just a case of wait and I know the worst time will be those 48hrs after you feed her next. But remember she's healthy and normally feeds fine, so hopefully there won't be any issue .

| Well its been over 48hrs since I gave Willow her pinkie to get her back on and so far so good, so fingers crossed! I have bought a very small fuzzy for her next feed too so as to not over do it but so far so good! |
