Yes, yes I do
Well... not so much a mansion, but the critters do have most of the rooms haha. Though to be fair, these are only teenie tiny birds

Lola and Maverick are zebra finches; Lola a fawn and Maverick a black cheek
Sid & Nancy are gouldian finches (red headed and black headed, of course!)

Merlin and Nimbus are the owl finches (fake owls!! ). I shall scowl at them until they come out of their hidey box and pose nicely

Aww, so jealous, I had several pairs of zebras over the years when I was younger, until eventually my mum had had enough and wouldn't let me get anymore... eventually the last one died of old age and there were no more :( I only ever had normals and one pair of fawns though, nothing like that very handsome male with his black cheeks :)

I was actually going to get another pair now that I've moved out but I've heard that the dust from their feathers can sometimes cause respiratory problems and one of my housemates is highly asthmatic, and is allergic to pretty much everything with fur or feathers besides. That having been said, I guess I should be graceful 'cause if I had got the finches I never would have gotten my corn :)

Sid's stunning. Yay for burdies, I used to have budgies, most of my childhood, and well into my twenties. I miss having them.
The closest I got to having birds whilst over here was when I found a baby owl - barn owl - only couple of days old, whilst riding. On the road. No nest anywhere. It didn't look good, was freezing cold, but I picked it up, put it in my top to keep it warm, and turned the horse back. After many frantic phone calls found a local wildlife rescue that was still open, so dropped him in - and he made it! Got passed onto Barn Owl Trust, when he was bigger :-)
Wish I could have kept him... sorry for highjacking the thread, it just reminded me :-)
