Um - well pairing 2 stripes means you will only get stripes, Kellog! It's the numbers of butters/amels/caramels which were up to the odd gods 
*facepalm* Oops. You know me and breeding/morphs Smartbunny.....terrible  . I know Oakleyman had mentioned on Facebook how lucky he was with this clutch so assumed it was the stripe side, not the colours, that he was lucky with. Really should know better than to comment on ANYTHING to do with breeding/morphs....all I do is embarrass myself  !

It really depends where you get them. These are £35 each, £50 for Butter, possible deals for multiples as said on page one further down About 3 years a go I asked my local reptile shop how much a Butter Stripe or Lavender Stripe would be and they said and I quote "At trade price alone they are about £100 so we'd have to sell them for at least £150-200 each unfortunately and unless you plan to breed, that's a very expensive pet..." Now that could be because it was 3 years a go and the price has gone down but it was very, very expensive for me since they would have been just pets back then. |

Yes Stripes used to be quite expensive, but they're definitely not as much as they used to be. 99% of breeders now just treat Stripe as an extra recessive gene, just like Amel, Anery, Hypo, Diffused, etc. So as has been mentioned, personally I'm letting them go for £35 for the Caramel Stripes het Amel and the same for the Amel Stripeshet Caramel, with the Butters at £50 because they're a triple visual morph, and a little harder to come by naturally.
That said, I may let Butter Stripe #09 go for £45 because of his bossy boots attitude, and may require a slightly more experienced home :) Or just someone with tough hands..!

I don't mind a bossy snake but what gender is #09 and #14? I like the complete stripe on #14 but I like a bossy snake so would love #09 lol. |
